In Mazars’ latest blog, we reflect on the company’s fantastic win at the Insolvency Awards 2014 earlier this month. Mazars’ National Bankruptcy Centre (NBC)/National Creditor Services (NCS) team was awarded the admired award of Personal Insolvency Firm of the Year.
Mazars beats off stiff competition
The awards ceremony held on Wednesday 1 October in London saw 28 awards given out on the evening. Categories ranged from ‘Banking Restructuring Team of the Year’ to the ‘Rising Star Award’. In total, over 800 of the industries professionals were in attendance.
Mazars were up against the likes of KPMG, Grant Thornton and other large accountancy and legal practices for the award.
However, Mazars’ excellent work was enough for the 22 strong judging panel to award them with the accolade.
Mazars’ Paul Rouse pleased that his team’s efforts have been rewarded.
In attendance for the company was Paul Rouse, Guy Hollander, Ann Nilsson, Matt Fitzsimmons, Ed Thomas and Matt Carter.
Paul, Partner and Head of National Creditor Services said:
“This is a fantastic achievement for the team, and one that recognises all parts of the National Bankruptcy Centres business. Mazars have been the market leader in this industry for the past 3 years and continue to strengthen their position whilst increasing market share during a declining market. This is not through chance, but through the efforts of the entire team both in terms of pre and post appointment services.”
Mazars’ market leaders for National Creditor Services
The National Creditor Services department within Mazars is the market leader in the field of personal insolvency. Mazars act for a significant number of blue chip organisations in relation to all aspects of personal insolvency, having clear depth within the traditional banking field coupled with the more recent emergence of the debt purchase market.
The company’s three centres in London, Milton Keynes and Gloucester are able to offer clients an exceptional wealth of experience ranging from the most straightforward bankruptcy to cases that merit a more detailed forensic approach to asset realisation perhaps within international jurisdictions.
Paul Rouse, Mazars’ Head of National Creditor Services would be delighted to discuss any aspect of Mazars offering to the market with you.
