Anthony Carey – Anthony Carey leads Mazars’ Board Effectiveness and Governance practice in the UK. He also takes an active role in thought leadership and public interest issues related to the profession especially in the areas of corporate responsibility and human rights.
Anthony has played a key role in the development of Mazars’ Business. For Good™ initiative, is co-author of Mazars’ Board Charter for Sustainable Success® and co-developed the firm’s Board Polarities model. He is also a lead for the Centre for Audit Committee and Investor Dialogue, a joint initiative between Mazars and a number of leading institutional investors.
He is a member of the FRC Financial Reporting Lab Steering Group and also serves on the executive of the Quoted Companies Alliance. He is a past member of the FRC’s Financial Reporting Review Panel and was project director for the original Turnbull Report dealing with risk management and internal control.
Tim Davies – Tim is Head of Tax at Mazars in the UK and a member of Mazars’ Global Tax Board with responsibility for developing the global specialist tax groups. With over 20 years of experience, Tim provides tax advice to businesses and entrepreneurs with particular expertise in complex corporation tax issues, shareholder planning and transaction tax.
Tim leads Mazars’ Tax Transparency initiative and sits on the Business. For Good™ steering group.
David Herbinet – David is the UK Head of Public Interest Entities (PIE) and the Global Audit Leader at Mazars. He is a key spokesperson on issues affecting audit competition, audit quality, joint audit and long-term sustainability.
David leads Mazars’ Business. For Good™ and the Centre for Audit Committee and Investor Dialogue, having played an instrumental role in the development of these ground-breaking initiatives. He is co-author of Mazars’ Board Charter for Sustainable Success®, an active member of the Academy for Business in Society, on behalf of Mazars, a member of the Audit Faculty Committee of the ICAEW and Mazars’ representative with ecoDa.
Richard Karmel – Richard is the lead partner for Mazars’ Business and Human Rights advisory services. He is the co-architect of the Human Rights Reporting and Assurance Frameworks Initiative project, and has played a lead role in developing the UN Guiding Principles Reporting Framework and the forthcoming Assurance Guidance.
Richard is a key spokesman on business and human rights issues and is regularly invited to speak on panels. Richard is a member of Mazars’ Business. For Good™ steering group.
Nicolas Quairel – Nicolas is a partner and leads Mazars’ Cyber Security services in the UK. With more than 15 years of experience in France, the US and the UK, he provides IT advisory services across various industries. He has worked with global, commercial and investment banks, insurance companies, retail and manufacturing groups to deliver a wide range of IT security-related services.
Vincent Rezzouk-Hammachi – Vincent is a Senior Manager in Mazars’ Technology Solutions team. He heads Mazars’ Data Privacy and Data Management services in the UK and is a qualified lawyer in France.
Francisco Sanches – Francisco works within Mazars’ Cyber Security practice and has over 14 years of experience within information security and IT audit. Francisco is responsible for IT security-related projects of audit, advisory and consulting in the financial services, telecommunication and utilities industries, working for major players in the UK, Portugal, Angola and Cape Verde.
